Measure your Lens
The best way to measure the diameter of a focus ring is using a digital caliper like these. You can also print a measuring strip here. Double check it prints to scale (US A4 paper settings).
A metric ruler or tape measure can also be used to measure:
1) Securely wrap the paper strip around the focus ring and mark where the paper overlaps.
2) Straighten the paper strip along a ruler to measure the length (circumference). Note if you are using inches or centimeters. Most rulers have centimeters marked on one side.
Example: Measured circumference is 23.4cm. If using the converter tool, make sure to enter your measurement in centimeters.
