This gear fits the Nikon 50-300mm f/4.5 AIS ED lens.

It is designed specifically to fit this lens and is compatible with any standard 0.8 Module follow focus. The standard gear will install over the front of the lens and the mount does not have to be removed for gear installation. 

Low profile focus/zoom gear sets are available, but lens has to be partially disassembled for installation. We prefer to have the lens here in our shop for gear installation, but if you are confident in your DIY abilities, it can be done by removing the 4x phillips head screws behind the mount with a micro screw driver.
